My ‘paintings with and without paint’ have taken on three-dimensional form through elevations beneath the canvas (it has become very important to look at the works not only from the front but also from the side to become fully aware of the sometimes very subtle elevations) and have developed into installations where the works interrelate and form one harmonious whole.

The way my work has grown and expanded into the space around and above enables the viewer to walk around and beneath some of the works, become immersed and part of their energy.
The use of natural materials (raw canvas and linen, charcoal, cane, wood and freshly ground coffee) in addition to paint has become very important in my work, just as energy, harmony and balance – a ‘beeing in tune’ with the flow of life and our intimate connection with nature.

Since graduating from Goldsmiths’ College in July 1996 my work has been on show in New York, Madrid, Barcelona, London and Brighton.
