The 2nd Annual Admission Day Festivities |

Admission Day is the biggest day of the year. It's a celebration for Alaska's birthday basically. We live in Colorado by the way, incase you're wondering. Anyway, I (Dave) put up all these flyers around town, and even gave one to the radio, which they typed into a report and read the following day. The school also announced the day on the morning announcements. Everything was going as planned. Everything was great.. |

Yeah, everything was great. See that red car at the end of the street? That's Merlin literally ditching us. He walked over to a car he thought might be his sister's, saw that it was, got in and took off. No goodbyes. later we saw him and he waved. We strove through it all and set up the parade. |

Here we are reaching the end of the first street. I (Dave) am pulling the red-ryder wagon with a dogloo on top of it, Tim is in the yellow coat. Those two other people are random kids that we asked to be in the parade. They said why not (in harsher language that is) and joined us. Their names are John and David. Being in our parade was the best thing they've ever done. They've accomplished something with their lives. |

You see Mat with the stereo. He tried to drive down the street in his car but a man behind him started cussing in local P-Town slang, and he was forced to abandon one of the two vehicles in the parade. Of interest is a girl that joined the parade. She was walking down the street, and was drawn in by our spirit and charm, and...... pity. Yes pity too, that always helps us make friends. |

The heroes strive onward. Notice the truck with a trailer in the background. Notice our float. notice the fact that the truck with the trailer is quivering in fear because of our float. He may be bigger, he may be stronger, but he lacks one thing. Weirdos. Without weirdos that horse trailer is reduced to shambles. |
