KOI NO KISEKI

Episode Ten

Ayako(Hazuki Riona) wanted to help open Yukino's heart by using her mother, Goto Kaori(Mizushima Eiko). But instead, her attempts ended up hurting Yukino(Kanno Miho) even more. While Yukino was out, her mother stole her bankbook and all the money that was in it and ran off. Ayako felt really bad about the whole matter and looked to Ijiri-san(Tanabe Seiichi) for help.

But when Ayako asks Ijiri-san if Yukino would ever open her heart, he answers, "It is because she(Yukino) depended on her mother for love (from the bottom of her heart) that she will no longer trust anybody." Ayako herself couldn't get Kai-kun(Hagiwara Masato) to understand and speak to her. For the first time, she could sort of feel what Yukino was experiencing deep inside. She starts crying.
@Ayako also becomes confused on the relationship between her father, Tsukamoto Masaharu, and Yukino's mother, Kaori. Her father once told her that Yukino was not a relative, but Ayako knew that it was a lie.

The next morning, Ayako wakes up next to Ijiri-san in bed. But Ijiri-san denies doing anything to her. After he leaves, Ayako finds a picture that Ijiri-san had accidentally dropped on the ground, and when she looks at it, she becomes stunned. It was a picture of a young Ijiri-san with a girl who looked exactly like Yukino. Ayako knew right away that the girl who looked like Yukino was Ijiri-san's dead girlfriend. He designed Yukino to look like his girlfriend.

On the other hand, Yukino began feeling sick every so often in the mornings. She decides to lock Kai-kun up in her room again like she did before. She wanted someone else(in this case Kai-kun) to go through what she had experienced in her lifetime. Yukino feeds Kai-kun her left-over dinner. But Kai-kun showed no signs of giving up on her.

The same morning, Ayako goes over to Yukino's house, because she was starting to get worried about Kai-kun again. But she then sees Yukino's sister, Hatsune(Yamaguchi Ayumi), leaving the house. Ayako decides to follow Hatsune. When Hatsune finally stops, Ayako is shocked to see Yukino's mother, Kaori. Kaori had called Hatsune to come.

Kaori had stolen Yukino's money, made a young boyfriend, and was getting ready to go to Thailand with him. The reason she called Hatsune was because she wanted her to go along with them. Once again, it seemed that Yukino was in the way of things. Hatsune refuses to go with them. But Ayako couldn't take it any longer. She walks in front of Kaori and says, "Can you even call yourself her(Yukino's) mother?" Ayako starts talking about happy memories of her mother, but when she tells Kaori that her father was Tsukamoto Masaharu, the expression on Kaori's face changes. It was apparent that she was shocked. Kaori leaves the scene after hearing this. But Ayako was shocked at the fact that her father had hidden something from her. What was he hiding? And what were the connections between her father and Kaori? Ayako becomes confused and worried.

That night, Yukino visits Ijiri-san's university hospital and brings along a physically weakened Kai-kun. He looked very exhausted. Yukino acted sarcastically worried that he might be dead. But at the same time, Yukino feels pain in her stomach and has to be supported by Ijiri-san. Yukino was pregnant. She wanted to abort the baby, but deep inside, she knew she couldn't do such a thing because the father of the baby was probably Kai-kun.

But she didn't know that Ayako was watching on from the corner. Ayako was shocked. She once again falls into a state of deep solitude and visits the gallery of the artist(Fujii Fumiya). She decides to stay there the whole time and skip the rehearsals for the movie she was to appear in with Yukino.

Ijiri-san and Ayako's manager, Shinosuke, go to pick her up at her house and take her to the rehearsal studio. Ayako meets Yukino there. But she was surprised at the fact that Yukino could act like nothing was wrong.

For some unknown reason, Yukino's mother, Kaori, enters the studio.

Yukino sees her mother, but couldn't take it anymore and tells her former manager, Inagaki(Sato Ippei) to kill Kaori. But Kaori catches up with her. They begin to fight physically and verbally, and Kaori finally reveals to Yukino the real reason why she threw her away. It was because Kaori underwent plastic surgery too. She felt hatred for Yukino because she looked exactly like her before the plastic surgery. She abused her because looking at Yukino was like looking in the mirror.

Yukino becomes emotional because she didn't know anything about this. But she could no longer trust her mother because of what she did to her the other day. If she opened her heart any more, she would begin to trust her mother, and Yukino didn't want to do that. Yukino starts going up the stairs to leave. Yukino's former manager, Inagaki, begins attacking Kaori, but she is able to run up the stairs close to Yukino. She grabs onto Yukino, but Yukino pushes her back, and Kaori falls down the stairs. Yukino didn't know what to do. Ayako also arrives at the scene. But when the police arrive, Kaori says, "I just slipped..." She protected Yukino. Kaori then loses conscience.

Yukino runs away from the scene, and Ayako ends up taking Kaori to the hospital. Is Yukino's mother alright? And what will become of Yukino?
