Kurata Yukino(Kanno Miho) had acid thrown all over her face by an unknown man. The man was captured, but all he told police was that he was asked by an unknown woman to do it. Inoue Ayako(Hazuki Riona), formerly known as Tsukamoto Taeko, who was in the middle of a campaign model contest, was the one blamed for taking part in it. The media blamed her, and so she was forced to quit the campaign. Ayako was too shocked and collapsed while walking the streets. She was found by Ijiri Tatsuhiko(Tanabe Seiichi), and taken to the university hospital once again. Because of the incident, Ayako, once again, turned to food, but Ijiri-san tells her that if she continued behaving this way, crying and all, than she would never become a strong woman. On the other hand, Yukino is released from the hospital after a few days and was perfectly fine, with no damage to her face. This was strange, thought Ayako. She knew deep inside that this was another attempt by Yukino to get what she wanted. She listens to what Ijiri-san had to say, and decides to become strong. She decides to do her best and be patient until she finds her missing father, Masaharu. On the other hand, because Ayako was forced to quit the campaign, Yukino was easily able to win. Ayako, who was just released from the university hospital, goes to the studio and asks Yukino to tell everyone that she had nothing to do with the incident. Yukino smiles and tells Ayako that she believes her and embraces her in front of her staff. The staff see this and are touched by Yukino's kindness, but they weren't able to hear what Yukino was actually saying to Ayako in her ear. Yukino told Ayako, "If you do something stupid like this again, something might happen to Kai-kun(Hagiwara Masato) this time." Ayako became frightened with Yukino's true self. Kai-kun also believed that Yukino was behind the incident that Ayako was blamed for. He goes over to the hospital that Yukino was hospitalized at, and finds out the truth about everything. That night, Kai-kun goes to Yukino's mansion and asks why she did such a thing. But Yukino starts blaming her manager and saying that he was the one involved and not her. Yukino starts crying and holds up a knife to her face and says, "This time, I'll really cut my face up, so forgive me". But Kai-kun stops her and sympathizes for her. He became weak to Yukino's tears. A few days later, Yukino calls Ayako and invites her over to the bar. But Yukino was up to something again, and Ayako could sense it. Just before contacting Ayako, Yukino called up Kai-kun and told him to call her again later on, and so she was going to make Ayako answer the phone. Yukino wanted Ayako to know that Kai-kun was on her side, and not Ayako's. But when Ayako answers Yukino's cellular when she was gone, it wasn't from Kai-kun. It was from a hospital and the phone was for Tsukamoto Taeko! Ayako is informed that her father, Masaharu, was in critical condition. Ayako couldn't believe this, and rushes to the hospital. When she arrives, her father was still alive but didn't have much time before he would die. It seems that one year ago, Masaharu was in a car accident and lost all his memory. But just a day ago, his memory came back to him. A woman who called herself "Taeko" came over that day to see Masaharu, but after meeting her, his attitude changed and he became outrageous for some reason. Ayako knew right away that that person was Yukino, and she called herself Taeko and came to see Masaharu every so often, but her real motive was to make Masaharu disappear(die) as soon as possible. Masaharu sees Ayako(Taeko), and although Ayako thought that he wouldn't recognize her, because she was thin and beautiful, he recognized her. He tells her, "I hope you find happiness", and seconds later, dies. Ayako couldn't believe it and screams, "Dad!", but he didn't answer. Just about then, Yukino arrives, but Masaharu was already dead. It is here that Yukino finds out that Inoue Ayako was really Tsukamoto Taeko. After that, Ayako was too shocked about her father's death and couldn't get herself to do anything productive. She goes over to the house where she used to live and recalls the memories, when she sees Kai-kun, who also returned to the house where he used to live. Ayako couldn't take it any longer and confesses to Kai-kun that she is really Tsukamoto Taeko, and he believes her. She tells him that her father had just died. After that, Kai-kun tries to help out Ayako by trying to figure out how she could revive her career. Although people still believed that she was the one who plotted to ruin Yukino's career, maybe she could use that as a plus. They decided to use an "evil woman" image for Ayako. Yukino finds this out, but doesn't waste any time. She tells the cosmetics company that Ayako used to be fat and used plastic surgery to become thin and beautiful. She shows a picture of Tsukamoto Taeko to the company, and tells them that this was what Inoue Ayako used to look like. Things are looking pretty bad for Ayako. - End of Episode Four - |
