Zebo lived in Excelsior, a city in the heartlands devoted to the teachings and festivities of Sharess. During his teenage years he chose the path of his sister, Peline, and swore to protect life, love, peace and felines. Thereafter, he was drafted into the ranks of the Excelsian Gaurd, who protected the entrance to the Celestial Mount, the largest and one of very few temples to Sharess.
Meanwhile, Peline experimented with war magic and soon became a respected spellsword for the Sigil City Gaurd Watch, a force one rung above Zebo's enlistment.
A few years after his sister's departure (and eventual acceptance into the elite Arcadian Army), Zebo decided to leave the Coalition Cities (Three Heartland cities that border each other and act as commonwealths. Excelsior is the smallest town and allows anyone to enter. If one serves the gaurd force for two years, they may start a family in the slightly larger city of Sigil where only the most loyal gaurds become members of the Harmonium, a fanatical Sharess worshipping cult. If one does a great deed in the name of Sharess, the Factol of the small town of Arcadia will invite them there for priesthood and training. Arcadia is open to the public but only as a place of worship. Only the greatest Harmonium Knights may hold court here). and spread Sharess' faith all over Toril.
His decision was strongly influenced by the Factol of Arcadia, a wise man who admired his sister and wanted him to do great deeds for Sharess so that he may one day qualify for the Arcadian Army. Months passed in preperation for his leave on his 21st Birthday while Peline was questing and did not return. Now, as he has crossed half of Faerun by boat and resides in Essembra, he seeks to find his sister here as well as his more divine goals.
Zebo draws his longsword slowly out of his scabbard as he hears the rustling of leaves behind him. He whirls around and is barely surprised to see a six-foot tall Orc charging toward him, lunging with mucus hanging off of his facial hair. As the creature nears he kicks at its knee, changing the Orc's promising sword slash into an awkward near-miss. As the Orc struggles to regain his feet, Zebo deflects a slash with his large shiny shield and counters with a viscious strike with his sword. The Orc smiles as his blade clashes with Zebo's, and the top half of Zebo's sword slices off and falls to the ground. Unerringly, the warrior of Sharess takes a nasty hit from the Orc's blade as he unearths a new weapon. Wrapped around his knuckles is an iron clamp welded with a sharp dagger blade, which is stained with the blood of previous blasphemous individuals. Determined, Zebo launches a full body assault against his formidable foe, knocking him to the ground with his well-muscled body and pounding his face with his free hand while stabbing his chest with his punching dagger. Bloody and stunned, the Orc ruinously turns his body to try to throw the warrior off of him, and Zebo's blade was there, slicing through his throat and spilling his blood. The young man stands up and urinates on the corpse before checking his own wound, one that would fell a lesser man. With an ode to Sharess and a gentle touch, the wound closes and Zebo walks off toward his destiny.
