One of the best things about SAC is the closing sequence. It's just cool! This set uses images from that sequence along with a colour-matched title and the characters' names for a simple background, which took hours of arduous reconstruction in order to get the entire character picts. Sorry no Saitou, Paz, or Bouma. Ishikawa and Aramaki coming soon.
 Lithium Flower: Motako
The Major standing counter point against brick. Orange and red.

The Major glaring over her shoulder against brick. Boys this is a nice rear shot. Pink and purple.
 Lithium Flower: Togusa
Togusa looking casual and a little myopic against brick. Very very orange.
 Lithium Flower: Batau
Batau against brick. Green blue.
This is another set of variations on a theme. Four interlaced images, a title and the character's name. Each character in a different colour. Ishikawa coming soon.
 Motako frames
The Major. One of my favorites of Motako this background includes a very nice image of her back as she leans over a cup of coffee. Not standard Motako. Blue.
 Aramaki frames
Aramaki. He's not my favorite, or the most aesthetically interesting character. But he is integral and deserves a background. The picture in the far lower left corner is actually from the movie, I only had three from SAC. Yellow.
 Togusa frames
Togusa. An often overlooked character. Originally I had intended to make one background of Togusa in this style, but I liked the layout so much I just made one for all the characters. Orange.
 Batau frames
Batau. I think I got a good spread on Batau with these pictures together they give a good look at the character. Green.
This is is a set of standard character backgrounds. Each is a single interlaced image of the character, with the title and their name. I like them anyway. Togusa coming soon.
 Interlaced Motako
Motako wearing sunglasses and glancing into a window. I love this image of the Major not only is it modest, but it's actually rather pretty. Green.
 Interlaced Batau
Batau in profile. This is a nice highly detailed image, without the over detailing many focal images often get. That's Motako sitting on the table in the background. Green.
 Interlaced Aramaki
Quintessential Aramaki glaring over his shoulder. Green.
 Interlaced Ishikawa
Ishikawa. One of the best things about SAC is the fact that Ishikawa is actually a character, but he still spends most of his time sitting at his info-chair. I mean to get a lot more Ishikawa backgrounds here. Green.
These background don't belong to any set.
 Jump
This is the deluxe Stand Alone Complex background. A full screen interlaced image of Motako and Batau jumping down at the viewer with a bright sky behind them, in bright orange. It's a high quality image and a very nice face on Motako, although her breasts are alittle prominent. This is one of my all time favorites of this collection. Orange.
 Miki
Possibly a spoiler. A full screen interlaced image with the title faintly in white. A little girl perches on top of a Tachicoma moving along the highway by the sea. A very wistful image, not standard GITS very pleasant, and evocative, from one of my favorite episodes. Orange.
 Batau-chan
Don't like Ghost in the Shell? Like Ghost in the Shell, but don't like SAC? Like the manga but not the series? Never heard of it? It doesn't matter because you can't not like Batau-chan. That's right. This was drawn and coloured by myself in a moment of reflection. The cutest damn image of Batau you'll ever see. Please, do not redistribute this piece. White
