Ghost in the Shell the Movie

The truth is, it's hard to find images, or backgrounds for Ghost in the Shell which don't verge on Hentai. Here are a couple of background which I am particularly proud of which don't. All are very simple but capture the sort of old-school starkness of the film. More to come soon.

These first four are all in the same style, full picture backgrounds of each of the three main characters with a name sidebar of the left side. Motako Kusanagi Motoko Kusanagi. The Major fully clothed looking serene. This is one of my favorites images of Motako. Very blue. Motako Kusanagi Motoko Kusanagi. The Major wearing her goggles and looking a little dangerous. This is an image one sees everywhere which doesn't make it any less nice. Very blue. Batau Batau sitting at the wheel of a car. I like this one very much, it conveys a lot of his attitude in the film. Rather green. Togusa Togusa redlit. That right there's another character in GITS. Togusa is probably the lest represented character in the film, so I had to make a background. Batau A complex background focusing of the central image of Batau running through the marketplace with a hand gun. I've always liked this image. It was the first GITS background I ever made. Very very orange.
