Fable
sunday morning
as the sun rises
all who wish for life
life without sin
head to a place of myth's birth
to keep from strife
to be forgiven for the sins they've committed
they head to church
one such person
thought to herself
this situation does worsen
they're already in hell
they all live with closed eyes
with closed minds
live in all these lies
what hope is there?
for these people so scared
find yourself
be free from this
live for yourself
it's possible
try it and you shall see
as far as god goes
there isn't one
though he is the alpha and omega
according to some
i have the solution
here's what we must do
go back to our old religion
claim this one as new
in my circle
i pray to my gods
i hear chants of witch
look up to see
see an angry mob
coming towards us all
they will kill me
just for what i believe
what about that book of theirs
the holy bible
they gather to practice
to worship and prey
so why can't i?
is it because its not an indoor place?
what does it truly matter?
its the same idea
at me the mob stares
as they hold me
just as well as others from my coven
i try to get away
to run free and hide
but once again i am caught
what will be done for me and my coven?
nothing you see
just cause of what we believe
but the church of god
in all its glory
to this day
pushes its fable and story...
InquisitioN
    remember the days of inquisition
    with unrestrained planned persecution
and the furies of cross and flame
using torture to point the blame
famlies they have torn apart
carried away by an ox drawn cart
off to dungeons they shall go
will they return, no one seems to know
    thrown upon torturous racks
twisting until they breaks their backs
trying to find those at fault
when only confessions shall make them hault
but what was they're hidden reason
to accuse some of wicked treason?
hunting for a witch
ignited tied to stakes to make them twitch
but it was all done to no avail
    for witches still prevail
so don't forget those days of inquisition
when innocents were put to the question.
