Now Is The Time To Worship.

Though the amended charter of 1944/45 states that one of their organization's purposes is for "...public Christian worship of Almighty God and Jesus Christ..."

And though their own translation of the Scriptures did use the word 'worship' in reference to Jesus Christ well after 1961, until it was replaced by a word of lesser connotation, namely: obeisance. What? Can the truth change?

And though their founder Charles T. Russell, who in their writings was said to be that Wise and Faithful Servant of Matthew 24, whom the Lord appointed over His affairs, to give them their spiritual food at the right time, although he didn't believe that Jesus was God, did teach that Jesus was entitled to true and genuine worship. Does this mean that if Russell was alive today and did not change his belief, that he would be disfellowshipped?

And even though the Bible boldly declares that the name of Jesus is above every name in heaven on earth and under the earth and commands that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus is Lord and in doing so giving glory to God the Father, (Phil. 2:9-12) still Jehovah's Witnesses cannot find it in their hearts to worship Him.

You know, I'd rather stand before the judgement of God having worshipped Jesus Christ to the glory of God the Father and discovering that I wasn't supposed to do that than to find out that I hadn't been obedient to the teaching of Scripture and that I should have truly worshipped Him.

Now is the time to worship the Son of God as Lord of all as Thomas did in John 20:28 and as all the angels are commanded to do in Heb. 1:6 (NWT 1961) and that all may honour the Son just as they honour the Father because he that does not honour the Son does not honour the Father. (John 5:23)

Yes, now is the time to worship!
