Brazil’s Virtual Frame buffer operates in the same manner as Max’s default frame buffer.

Selecting this button will bring up a save file window.  Of particular note, Brazil will allow you to save the current frame buffer while it is rendering without causing errors.

7.1.2  Clone VFB

This will create a new frame buffer, allowing you to compare renders.

7.1.3 Display Red Channel

Enables and disables the displaying of the red color channel.

7.1.4  Display Green Channel

Enables and disables the displaying of the green color channel.

7.1.5  Display Blue Channel

Enables and disables the displaying of the blue color channel.

7.1.6  Display Alpha Channel

Toggles between showing the alpha channel and the selected color channels.

7.1.7  Display as Monochrome

This allows you to view the image as grayscale.

7.1.8  Clear VFB

This will clear any image currently in the frame buffer.

7.1.9  Channel Display List

For most files, this will only display RGB Alpha, but if you are rendering an RPF or RLA file, additional channels can be present.

7.1.10  Color Swatch

Stores the last color selected with holding down the right mouse button over a section of the image.
