How do make a Skin by Conner94 This is part one, of more to come. First, we will look at how to create a sprite skin. Use a wad editor (DeepSea, Wintex) and open your main wad file (doom.wad, doom2.wad) in your doom directory. Then open the wad editors sprite editor. Scroll down to the green marine sprites, this is the player skin. Simply edit these to what you want. After that, save your wad (example: myskin.wad). Then, to test it, use a port and load up your wad. If you look at another player, he will be what you made it look like. Note: For most multiplayer games, only you will see the new skin. Now, we will work on how to make a player skin for the doomsday model. You must have doomsday and the normal model pack to do this. Go to your doomsday directory, go to "MD2", go to "Play", and then edit Face_green, and all the others that have "Face" before them. DO NOT CHANGE THE FILE NAME. To run them, activate the "Faced!" add-on. Then you will see your skin. Note: For mutltiplayer games, only you will see the new skins. Also Note: The skin raps around the player, so it may not turn out how it does in your editor (paint, photoshop).
