America wants to unite behind our diversity and democracy
as strengths in the world. How can we achieve this if we are fighting
amongst each other? The politicians and the wealthy have united to
create a government that works for them. Now it is time for us to create a
government where "We the People" have the power, and group property like
corporations are are not given the rights of individuals.
Unite to build a democratic, cooperative, cleaner, safer
world where we the people, not the corporations, make the decisions that
affect our
lives. Election fraud, job loss, low wages, the war in Iraq, expensive
healthcare, air pollution, unsafe drinking water, poisonous chemicals in our
food...Aren't you tired of their mess? We are all Americans, and we are all
heading in the wrong direction. I am getting really tired of trying to
explain the facts to Democrats and Republicans, and apparently facts alone
don't work.
The Green party that
has practical solutions to the mess made by the other major parties.
How are you different from the Democrats and Republicans?
The Green Party is more than a political party. It is a belief system that
envisions a future based on human equality, dignity and diversity. Despite
minuscule differences, the main agenda of both the Democrats and Republicans
has been self-promotion and self-preservation, continuation of a status-quo
favoring the moneyed interests on whom they are dependent for funding.
The Democratic Party has been failing for a long time, without our help.
That is because a Democrat has become indistinguishable from a Republican,
BOTH PANDERING TO AND REPRESENTING CORPORATE AND MONEYED INTERESTS. Greens
offer a genuine alternative choice from the Republocrats. We enable people
to vote their hopes, not their fears.

Why is America Dividing? Why? Because humans don't
like being told they are wrong, that's why we would rather believe in Fairy
tales. People don't want to hear facts, they want to hear rhetoric.
So.. here is some rhetoric:
Wake Up now or the World is going to end.
(I don't
reall believe this) A certain amount of land can only support a certain
number of people, and we have exceeded that number by relying on ancient
fossil fuels. Feed all the starving people in the world? Why? So they can
live longer and have more kids? Doesn't everyone see that we are caught in a
viscous loop? We can not keep growing more food for more people because
someday soon, food production will NEVER be able to keep up.
Why aren't we sustainable? Why isn't our economy and our agriculture based
on fuels that last forever? Cheap fuels = Cheap food right?
I guess it's just easier to fill up on foreign oil than it is to look into
alternatives. it's easier to blame your neighbor for your problems than
actually looking for working solutions. I guess it's easier to buy that nice
shirt from Gap because it was 40% off...
Now.. at this point you might be thinking "What is this freak getting at?"
IF technology will save us who is going to be able to afford that
technology? Only the rich?
IF we are able to keep our political system going forever, who is going to
run try to run it? Only the rich?
My only hope is that we don't turn into a Orwellian 1984 like world, where
fear of a made-up enemy is society's sole driving force. What happened
to promises of hope from politicians? When did it turn to promises of
security?
