Left: this is a picture of the compressor intake, the blades are clearly visible and are roughly 3 inches in diameter. the actual intake itself is about 2 inches accross.

Left: This is where the action should be happening, the exhaust outlet, the wastegate and blades are both visible, as are the 3 bolts that will be holding the thrust nossle. the thrust nossle has just been ordered from a guy called Joe on the DIY gas turbines list, see the links section.
there seems to be quite a bit of oil in and around the blades, im hopeing this is just due to the turbo being left standing on its side for a while.

Left: This is a side shot of the turbo showing the exhaust inlet, this is where all the fire should be going :D well hopefully not but you know what i mean :)
