Monaco report
6 th May :
Bob jones arrived in the Hotel
de Paris
8 th May:
Wayne and bodyguards are yet
in the Hotel de Paris, confirming Michael's arival.
Our friend, that lives in Monaco
learnt by his father ( that works in the Monaco Police ) that Michael is expected
to arrive at 7 P.M.
As the day goes on, the time
of michael's arrival changes. The policemen that know our friend keep him
inform each time they have news.
It is now 3 p.m , and Michael
Bush and Karen Faye has arrived under the screams of the fans that are waiting
in front of the main entrance behind the gates.
We still fear that michael could
cancelled as in Poland but as the staff arrived, we started to believe that
Michael would finally come.
The policemen tell us that Michael
is supposed to arrive by the backstage entrance. We are surprised cause hundreds
of fans have been wainting since the morning at the other side , in front
of the main entrance. But the Police tells us it 's official. We are not convinced
but we decided to wait in the street of the backstage door.
Michael is now supposed to arrive
around 8.30 pm. We still wait...now he is supposed to arrive at 9 pm...still
wait...At 9.30, a bodyguard arrives at the corner of the street of the backstage
and the main entrance . The Police tells us they will inform us as soon as
Michael arrives in Monaco. The bodyguard is waiting in the street , calling
with his mobile phone..we ask the policeman to go and ask him what happens.
He came back and told us that the bodyguard didn't know from which side michael
would arrive and that he had to wait for the final phone call.
The policeman calls us : "michael
is in Monaco ! " We got suddenly so nervous!!
We look at which side the bodyguard
looks too.
According to the policeman,
it's now official, michael will arrive by the backstage door. Suddenly we
see the two vans of michael, he is here. We run at the backstage door. Not
a lot of fans saw the vans arriving.
Wayne is nervous, the fans too.
Michael is waiting in his car. We can see him , he waves at us. He is preparing
Prince and Paris , gives Paris her doll , putting a sheet on her and gives
her to a bodyguard. Then Prince...
Then he prepares himself. Puts
his hat correctly , and he comes out.
Everybody is screaming. He is
wearing his 3t baseball cap, mask and all the stuff that comes with it: totally
hidden.
He waves and goes inside the
hotel.
The fans at the other side are
angry. They understood nothing when they saw screaming fans coming back from
the backstage saying Michael had arrived.They saw nothing .
9 th May:
Michael was supposed to visit
a museem in Nice ( "les beaux arts") but the visit has been cancelled at the
last minute.
Michael comes out to go to a
reharsal in the Sporting Club of Monaco.
A fan that works for the WMA
is inside , including some french fans that were lucky enough to see few seconds
of Michael performance.
Few fans that were able to go
inside the sporting are waiting for Michael . Bodyguards leave us behind a
line. Michael comes out , waves, and leaves. He is wearing a beautiful blue
shirt.
Michael takes the direction
of a little city near Monaco "Eze". Fans are waiting outside of a beautiful
villa in front of the sea. Apparently , this villa belongs to people that
work for the WMA as people with pass from the WMA's are going inside.
This visit was a private one,
nothing special happened there.
Then Michael comes back to the
Hotel.
We learn from a policeman ,
friend of our friend , that Michael has to come out to make a picture session
to promote the smart car. At first we don't believe him. Michael advertising
this car? More infos arrive : Prince Albert is with Michael in a private room
to ask him to do it.
We ask at what time he
is supposed to come out. He tells us around 9 pm.
He acceptes to bring us down
the stairs , just in front of the smart car that is waiting in front of the
stairs too.
We began to believe him. The
security begin to get nervous.Screams inside the hotel tell us that Michael
is arriving. And yes, Michael is here , at the main door. A fan takes him
in his arms, the Press is pushing to take the greatest pictures.
Michael looks scared and they
aborpt the promotion and michael goes back to a private room. It was 9.30.
Inside of the Hotel , fans got hurt by bodyguards, it has never happened.
there have been also a fight between security , bodyguards and fans.Michael
was also supposed to be the guest of the WMA dinner in the hotel behind the
hotel de Paris. He was supposed to promote the smart , then to continue by
feet to go to this hotel but due to the hysteria , everything has been cancelled.
Michael is not waving so much
at the window and when someone is at the window, we are not sure that it is
michael.Michael Bush, Karen Faye, wayne and skipper waved a lot at the balcony.
Looking up to the floor of michael to see if he was waving. But no Michael.
10 th May:
Michael stood in his room a
lot of time. The DooDoo Team decided to go directly to the sporting club at
7 pm. We asked people from the staff if Michael would participate to all the
show. Yes, he was supposed to.
The tickets we had were first
and second row, but to honore those tickets , we were obliged to scream at
all the performers. Very hard work to scream for Ricky Martin when we are
not seeing Michael.So if you see us screaming for them , don't be surpised
! lol !
During the show, we heard :
" michael will arrive at 9" , then at 10, then it is 10.30 , then 11.30. Prince
Albert was not so happy ! And finally , Michael arrived at midnight.
Michael met an actor just before ( duncan ). The actor of Titanic and Jean
claude Van Damme were showing their picture with michael to prince albert
(picture taken the day before in the lobby of the hotel de Paris).
You know how the performance
was: Michael arrived and made his speech.With some words for his fans.
Then he left , and got back
to his hotel dirctly by the backstage entrance , waving a little bit more
to his fans then before.
11th May:
Michael finally went out around
11 am. As the promotion of the Smart car was not done the day before, Michael
had to did it again, and went shopping in this car, with only a driver and
behind , the vans with his kids, prince and paris.
We ran behind and arrived a
little bit after michael. As we were going inside the gallery where the music
store where, we bumped into two bodyguards that were taking prince and paris
back to the van.
Michael was looking at the cd's
, he took a book with babies pictures.Michael accepted to pose with some french
fans that he knew. Michael was not in a really good mood. kind of nervous.
He began to search the exit as the bodyguards wanted him to go and see
the cd's and dvd 's . But michael wanted to leave. He started to leave by
the exit doors but skipper brang him back to leave by the main exit. Doodoo
gave him all the letters send on the message board and by email by the members.
So be sure he read all your letters!
Then Michael left the gallery
and entered in the smart car. He went back to the hotel. He came out 30 mn
after to go to a library he visited yet 4 years ago.
Fans were around the library
waving at michael. Prince and Paris were there too, playing on the floor.
Skipper let 3 fans go inside.
Michael stayed there almost 30 mn and went out with a lot of books he had
bought.
After the book store, he went
to a chinese restaurant: " La porte d'or ". He ate there.
He was supposed to go then to
another music store. This visit has been cancelled as well as too many people
were in front of the restaurant.
Michael came back to his hotel
around 5 pm.
12 th May:
Michael left Monaco still by
the backstage door at 8.30 am. While in his van , he took some banners and
letters. Then waved to say bye and left.
He went to Italy. Later in the
afternoon, news arrived saying he was in london.
