Sestina to the Silver Moon

Oh, shimmering moon up above,
silver light emphasizing the waters,
the thoughts inside my head you sing,
reminiscent of a newer way's rise.
Your glow is inflexion of fate.
Your face transformed by the misted night air.

My eyes close, heavy from that air.
Seraphic inklings descend from above.
Intuition becomes my fate.
As waves are sure to break on the water.
from the ashes of the day, I will rise!
In celebration of life, I will sing!

A hymnal of my faith, I sing!
Proudly my voice rings into the eve's air.
My soul's symphony on the rise.
Notes from my spirit transcending above,
as fears bounce over the water.
Alive, I bask in the visage of fate!

The road that brought me here was fate
with it's twisting paths that make years sing
of clouds and ships on the ocean's water;
leaving the earth full of moist air
and another head with a mast above.
(Of both great lore and legends rise)

Like the cream on still milk, they rise,
pocketed within their own well-spent fate.
All eyes at once have turned above
to focus on your face with gusto to sing.
Voices rendering complete the night's air,
as reflections are cast on the water.

Your glow that's cast on the water,
the same, as all furys and praises rise,
will for an instance sake breathe air
into lives changed by the powers of fate.
Bathed in this secret, I sing!
Heart lifted and awe full eyes turned above.

Whenever I look above to your face, my thoughts rise,
as swelling water on the tides of fate
and I know that all mankind can sing, as all are given the air.
