Patience and the Sea The sun blares so hot, still Patience awaits, savoring what has yet to come. You beckon over the brillance of her majesty's garrish departure, whispering of ancient treasures, secrets swallowed, kept in the paunch of a nomad whale, as dolphins linger near a pier where noses turn red and mastered hands cast their line. An advent of ancient incarnation will stir into moonlit trickles, softly spuming to cover her face in a salty mask comprised of your essence. At that time Patience will whisper, "Shush, I don't think that they know it." her heart keeping some invisible truth. Author's Note: Not Finis |
