Mind Jewel of a Mad Man Unto myself I swam through the misted night air, smoke filled and blooming with star sparks, musky whiffs of wildfire. From high I watched skin crack, fold revealing myself underneath, as I sank puddling the ashen floor. No deception left to cover my wounds. I joyfully wept for sorrow (red rimmed, terrorful eyes.) Pleas for ebbing innocence crossed my lips, the truth I knew to never be, (erasure of knowledge). A vista so eagerly sought after now seared into this restless mind. I demand it, BE STILL This expectation has reached a limit. It's exploitation is no more. Other hearts take the hold. Paths ever entwined leading one and all to sacred unreason's threshold (the madman's mind jewel). Author's Note: Finis (maybe)! |
