You can live in an area your entire life, visit a place all the time, and yet still learn something new about it when you start letterboxing.  For instance, despite the number of visits Doodle had made to Lakewood Park in the past, she never knew that the path where this box was hidden existed. 

Carefully tucked into this box was a Care Bear Hitchhiker, our first found hitchhiker!  And, from what the logbook said, the On a Clear Day Letterbox had been Love-a-Lot's first stop, so we were happy to help her further her travels.
