	October Rider of the month! Katie Hanak



		Katie Hanak has been riding at Greystone for more than a few years now. She has been with Jody from below walk trot level all the way to where she is now-which is quite a step up from walk trot! Katie is currently doing the pre-childrens hunter with her pony, Woolen Hill's Sterling Silver also known as Silver. When Katie first got Silver, the pony was jus a nice backyard type pony with alot of potential. With Katie's persistance and hard work Silver is now a competitive pony in the pre-childrens hunter division. Next season Katie plans on moving up in the ranks to do childrens hunter with Silver. Katie not only rides her own pony but also helps out Jody with schooling other ponies. This extra riding has helped her become the rider she is today! So look for Katie in the show ring. You'll be sure to see her!
