This 1992 package from Collectables is still available ten years after its first release. It contains almost everything recorded by this group from northern New Jersey which cut their sides for George Paxton & Marvin Cane's Coed label beginning in 1958.
The group's members were Homer Dunn (tenor), Charles Allen (bass), Roland Cook (tenor) and Andy Jones (baritone).
The group specialized in what might best be called "Doo-Woppin' the Big Band Sound" and produced a consistently high quality product despite their low chart positions. Their work has become a distinctive piece of enjoyable Rock 'N' Roll history.
