This 1988 release on the King label is the CD reissue of a mid '50s
Federal / King LP which contains 12 of the sides the group cut for
Federal before they went on to fame and fortune on the Mercury label.
This CD contains the first recording of Only You WITHOUT the
overdubbed whistling found on the 19 Hits CD, which is also reviewed
on this Website. For this track alone this budget-priced CD
belongs in your collection. And if you don't have 19 Hits, the remaining 11 tracks make it an acceptable though incomplete substitute for that package. It contains most of the "cream" of their work for Syd Nathan's Federal label.
