This 2002 release From NMC Mustic Ltd., in the United Kingdom, is a compilation of doo wop "obscurities" which compiler Mark Lamarr claims to have gleaned from the A Million Dollars Worth Of Doo Wop and My Doo Wop CD collections - over 750 songs distilled down to the 56 in this package.
The quality of the tracks from an aesthetic point of view is quite varied - from the proverbial sublime to the ridiculous. But I find some personal favorites in this package, including an old Times Square Records favorite - There'll Be No Goodbye by the Five Delights, which I remember hearing Slim Rose broadcast during at least one of his notorious sessions on WBNX. Another note - the two recordings entitled I'm Really Too Young by the Nobletones / Noble Tones on Disc 1 are different songs recorded by different groups; the latter recording was rereleased on the Times Square label (#17) in 1963. There are a few apparent typographical errors in the track listings, which I note in parentheses in the listings below.
This package is a worthwhile acquisition at under $20, unless you have the all the volumes of the compilations from which the tracks were excerpted.
