With Mike's insistance, I will be updating this page just as quickly as I receive pictures.  Please check back often, because in between film developing, I will be posting updates on the Villarreal - Buckingham clan.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, because this webpage is going to be thrown together without much preparation, as my computer time is dedicated to my schoolwork.

UPDATE:  (February 20, 2003)  Mike has been in the desert since December 13 of last year.  The girls and I have managed to keep our spirits up the best we can, but Mike's presence is sorely missed.  The pending war is keeping him there twice as long as he had anticipated, so we have prepared ourselves for a hard separation, but our constant communication via email and phone cards has been a Godsend.   Brittany just made a part in the school play, where she plays a bubbly airhead....how fitting?   LOL.....she tried out for the lead, and was disappointed initially in what she got, but with 42 girls trying out for only 10 parts, she did awesome just to have been chosen.   Amber is trying to rebound from a decline in first quarter's straight A's, so she has put all of her energy into her studies.  She beams every Friday when she hands me her homework folder to sift through.  I am in the process of taking 3 online computer classes.  The programming one is kicking my butt, but Mike is being so supportive throughout all of my gripes and complaints.  Mike is getting by like the strong soldier that he is.   He will be testing for Tech as soon as he gets home, so he has been concentrating his free time on studying for that and working out at the gym.  He faithfully calls me everyday and with his arrival, I will have PLENTY of picture-taking opportunities once again.
