ASWAN
View of Aswan and Nile
The sand covered hills of the West Bank of Aswan contain a number of tombs of nobles and dignitaties from the Old Kingdom to the Roman Period. The tombs are decorated with reliefs and biographical text. Just up the river is a friendly Nubian Village that is a great place to have dinner.
