                                                                 By Don Michael
My mathematician is Karl F. Gauss. Karl F. Gauss was born  April 30, 1777 Brunswick,Germany. He has discovered many formulas. The unit of magnatissm was named after him too: Gaussians.

                                                                 His Childhood
In his childhood, Gauss liked math and was already good at it. When he was three years old, he found an error in his dad's complicated payroll calculations. He fixed the mistake to the correct answer. Some people say that story isn't true and some say it is. I don't know if i believe it or not though. When he was the age of seven, his teacher told the class to write down the total of all integers from 1 to 100. Instantly, Karl wrote on his slate "1050" which is the correct answer. People are pretty sure that this story is true.

                                                                 His Early Adulthood
At his college, he discovered by himself the binominal theorem and the arithematic geometric mean. He left his hometown in 1798 without a diplome then moved back in 1799 with a degree.

Gauss was a great mathematician. He ws exellent at mathematics all his life. He died of old age Feburary 28, 1855 at the age of 78.
