Don't Faint...Just Believe

Is there somewhere a sedative for the soul

A place of rest where the hurting heart can go

No more struggles for the weary

Dry eyes for the teary

Perfect peace

Sweet release

Shelter from the storm

Loving Arms to keep one warm

From the cold winds of this life

That seem to cut some days like a knife

Bringing with them so much pain

Enough to seemingly drive a mind insane

The cry goes out from a weary heart

Worn, ripped and torn apart

Man does not perceive, but Divine ears hear

And a soft sweet whisper sounding quite clear

Speaks the message “weary child come, draw near”

“Let My Strong Arms of Love

Cradle you from Above

I am mindful of your pain

And have felt each pang just the same

The sedation that you seek

From a view that looks so bleak

I will minister unto you

Till body, soul, and spirit you have been renewed

Rest now in My Arms and receive

Don’t Faint, little lamb, just believe”
