EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

 

    This website is being created to showcase some of Atlanta's best tourist attractions, as well as, give natives and non-natives alike, an opportunity to purchase various memorabilia.  This site will cater to the ages (18 - 35) in an effort to capitalize on Atlanta's growing popularity within this age group in addition to helping stimulate the growth of tourism.

    This will partly be accomplished by the creation of a vivid and inviting homepage.  The color scheme will be red, white, and black, which happen to be the colors of three most known professional teams (Falcons, Hawks, and Thrashers).  It will also don the catchy name ATLiens (A-T-Liens) which means non-native to Atlanta and is the name of a CD put out by a popular rap group from Atlanta.  This name should stand out among surfers and induce curiosity.  The homepage will also display a map with clickable links to other places of interest within the city.

    Another key feature to the site will be the categories chosen to represent my links (parks, historical black colleges, clubs, events, sports).  With this vast array of chooses this site promises something for everyone.  All of these pages will be accessible from the homepage and from each individual page, in an attempt to facilitate ease of navigation and share a common appeal.  The sports page will include a link to a form in which users can fill out and order various sports memorabilia.

     The finished product promises to draw many hits and visitors just as its city counterpart.  Revenues are expected to increase in both front-end sales and e-commerce.  This website will be unique and intriguing to all who has some interest in the city.
