As we all know everybody likes to eat candy. I was doing this the other day and i suddenly realized something. Anytime there is an assortment of flavors for a dessert treat, there is always one flavor that everybody unanimously dislikes. I was thinking why would a company trying to sell a product intentionally put a flavor that nobody truly cares for. If you think of it, you will see I am right for example...starbursts, skittles, shocktarts and other candy companies all have the yellow lemon flavors, and popsicles always have the lime flavored popsicle. Nobody ever really likes these flavors so why are they included when all they do is spoil the enjoyment of your treat. Well i've found that all these treats companies are owned by the school system. The school system has decided to teach kids something by using their favorite candies, but not history, math, science or other subjects, but they are teaching kids about life with these candies. They are showing kids at a young age that life will always suck, and no matter how good you think life is (all the good flavors) there will always be something to cause life to suck (lemon and lime flavors). Another thing they try to show you is that there will always be people that are above average (red flavor) and other people who are below average (yellow flavor) and nobody ever likes the below average person. So if you like the lemon or lime flavored candy the best, well let me be the first one to inform you that you are in the group that nobody likes, but im sure you already knew that. |
