How to Get Un-Banned

Attention: We have discovered a way to defeat the scourge of Napster bans imposed by the likes of Dr. Dre and Metallica. Many spies died to bring you this information. 


Step 1: 

Uninstall Napster. 


Step 2: 

Create a new text file. 


Step 3: 

Name the text file napster.inf 


Step 4: 

Copy this text:

Step 5: 

Paste into the napster.inf file and save. 


Step 6: 

Move the napster.inf file into your Windows root directory. (such as c:\windows) 


Step 7: 

Reinstall Napster Beta 6. Do not launch Napster when it gives you the option after installation. Instead, close. 


Step 8: 

Right-click on napster.inf in your windows directory, and select "install." 


Step 9: 

Run Napster and create a new user ID. 


Step 10: 

Proceed to download the hell out of Dre and Metallica.
