December 23, 2004: After one year of producion, "Dark Mullet" premiered today at Scott Farms Studios in Tulelake, California. The film received astounding reviews and experts predict it to take in nearly $150 million in its first weekend.

December 23, 2004: The premier of "Requiem for a Dip" has been delayed due to labor strikes, which have prevented director Seth Binderup from finishing the film. However, Binderup did reveal a trailer at the "Dark Mullet" premier, which has increased anticipation for the film.

December 16, 2004: Rumors abound surrounding upcoming films from Don Puņaton Productions. The fate of Allen Scott's much talked-about country music films is rumored to be in jeopardy, as Dark Mullet post-production runs long and scheduling conflicts in Santa Barbara prevent him from producing an adequate script. Scott's mind is also occupied with two purposed projects slated for filming in 2005/2006 - the sequel to "Dark Mullet" and a new film tentatively titled "The Barbarians."
As Seth Binderup puts the finishing touches on his feature directorial-debut "Requiem for a Dip," questions arise regarding Binderup's future projects. The highly anticipated prequel to "The Christmas Project," which was slated to have already begun production, has not made it past the script phase. The future of another Binderup production "The Rising" is also unclear as of presstime. David Campbell was slated to star in that film.

December 4, 2004: Big news from Don Punaton Productions! Two big premiers are scheduled for the Holiday Season, just in time to qualify for the Academy Awards. Allen Scott's long anticipated superhero film "Dark Mullet" finally arrives in theaters and Seth Binderup's directorial debut "Requiem for a Dip" will both premier around Christmas.

August 14, 2004: Seth Binderup and David Campbell announce that they are working on a short-film entitled "Requiem for a Dip." The film will document their trials and tribulations as they attempt to quit chewing tobacco. The film will also be the first from Co. Road 100 Films, a new branch of Don Puņaton Productions started by Binderup. No release date has been announced for the film.

August 13, 2004: Director Allen Scott appeared on "The Connie Bryant Show" on Santa Barbara Cable Access Channel 17. Scott was showing guiding people around Santa Barbara aboard the Land Shark, an amphibious tour vehicle featured in an upcoming episode of "Life and Times..."

July 2004: The second season of "Life and Times..." continues with the premier of "Episode Two: Countdown to 'Bloodhunt.'" The film was privately screened in Santa Barbara before it was shown to the general public on July 22 in Tulelake, CA.

July 22-25, 2002: Production on "Dark Mullet" resumed in Tulelake, CA after a seven month hiatus. Director/Star Allen Scott and several members of the cast and crew, including Seth Binderup, David Campbell and Adam Alcorn, finished scenes that could not be completed during the initial shoot in Decemeber due to inclimate weather conditions and scheduling conflicts. Scott will shoot several additional scenes this summer in his Santa Barbara studio.

May 31, 2004: Rumors abound through the Don Puņaton Production facilities regarding many new and interesting projects during the coming year. The first of these concerns actor/producer Seth Binderup's directorial debut. Binderup had been hard at work on the script for "Madison" a prequel to the highly successful 2002 film "The Christmas Project." However, rumors are circulating throughout Hollywood and Tulelake that Binderup has postponed the film and is currently working with actor David Campbell ("EMT: The First Mission," "The Christmas Project") on a vehicle for the two of them. Shooting on the film could take place as early as mid-summer. Attempts to contact Binderup were unsuccessful and the rumors remain unconfirmed.
Other rumors concern director Allen Scott, who is currently working on the highly anticipated superhero comedy "Dark Mullet." Scott has recently let on that he intends to begin shooting a new film late this year. Rumors that this film might be a sequel to "Dark Mullet" have been displaced by the rumor that Scott is currently working on a brand new script in his Isla Vista studio. Like with Binderup, attempts to contact Scott have been unsuccessful and the rumor remains unconfirmed.

May 28, 2004: The brand new trailer for the highly anticipated film "Dark Mullet" is now available on the film's website. The film's director Allen Scott is currently hard at work editing the film and hopes to have it completed for a September release.

May 28, 2004: Updates to the Co. Road 100 site are complete. New photos are released on the website.

May 23, 2004: Don Puņaton Productions releases production stills from the upcoming feature film "Dark Mullet."

May 16, 2004: Director/Producer Allen Scott and his lawyers are currently debating whether or not to file lawsuit against Warner Bros. and the makers of the film "Troy" over a dispute regarding the rights to Homer's epic "The Iliad." More in our feature The Trojan War.

April 24, 2004: "Life and Times" kicked off its second season with an episode entitled "The Contest." The episode establishes some important story lines for the new season and carries on the tradition of the popular "Life and Times" series.

April 24, 2004: Don Puņaton Productions releases two highly anticipated DVDs - "Life and Times: Episode Four" and "EMT: Special Anniversary Edition."

March 2004: "Life and Times" completed its highly successful first season by premiering its ninth episode in the month of March. The episode first premiered in Isla Vista, California and later premiered to a much larger audience in Chico, California. Production of season two is currently underway and the first episode will be premiered in late April.

February 29, 2004: The first glimpse of the highly-anticipated film "Dark Mullet" has been made available! Director Allen Scott has released a one minute teaser on the "Dark Mullet" homepage. The teaser was originally slated to premier before Jungle Jim Films' "Bloodhunt." After the delay of the film, Scott decided to release the teaser on the website. No release date is scheduled for "Dark Mullet."

February 24, 2004: Stills from "Episode Nine" are now available on the "Life and Times" portion of the website. The episode itself was slated to premier on March 5 in Chico, California but the release date has been pushed back to late-March so as not to conflict with the premier of Jungle Jim Films' "Bloodhunt." (The film "Bloodhunt" features many regulars from the "Life and Times" series).

February 11, 2004: Producer Seth Binderup announces plans to develop a film project slated for Fall of 2004. The project is a prequel to "The Christmas Project", the highly successful debut film of Don Punaton Productions back in 2002. The prequel is a character study of Binderup's character Madison, from "The Christmas Project", and how he came to be the hardened villian he is in that film. The film is in the pre-production stage and script development is in the works.

January 4, 2004: The producers of "Dark Mullet" have decided to postpone filming due to heavy snowfall on location in Tulelake, California. Due to this postponement, the film's release date will be pushed back to the winter of 2004. Director/Producer/Star Allen Scott hopes to return to filming in the early summer and in the meantime will focus on preliminary editing of the already completed scenes.
