Wood 'N Paradise was founded by Bert Barr in 2005. Woodturning became Bert's second love after he retired from flying helicopters in 2004. Based in Paradise, Newfoundland - Wood 'N Paradise specializes in pens and small turnings, although Bert certainly doesn't rule out the larger pieces someday! Bert can be found on any day in his shop with his Delta lathe and the shop cat, Tinka. This site is a photo album of completed pieces, and occasionally works in progress.
