Mr. Kasner has been teaching at Millard North High School since January of 1999.  He is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in secondary mathematics education.  He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Peru State College.

    Mr. Kasner's hobbies include basketball (which he serves as an assistant coach at Millard North), various outdoor activities and sports, working at a Feed Store/Farming operation back in Iowa, and rugby (which he played at the University of Northern Iowa).
 

    Mr. Kasner enjoys challenging kids in the area of mathematics.  His goal is to make each and every student better in the following areas:

• thinking independently
• solving problems
• organizing their work
• working towards achieving a specific goal
• persevering under difficult situations
• using technology in the classroom
• working with others
