| �And as you go, preach, saying, �The kingdom of heaven is at hand.� Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. FREELY you have received, FREELY give.� Matthew 10: 8 �And He said to them, �Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature�And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.� Mark 16: 15 � 18 Jesus said that when the Holy Spirit came upon US, we would continue what He began � demonstrating His victory and His Lordship. When we receive the Holy Spirit we become His witnesses � baptised with the Holy Spirit and with fire. And the world gets to see the demonstration of the devil�s judgement and defeat � they are convicted of the folly of remaining in his camp and under his dominion, and they are given a preview of the fate of all those who refuse to repent and reject the free gift of salvation and righteousness in Christ! �He makes His ministers a flaming fire� � Psalm 104: 4 \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ And so, the three-fold ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement. If you try and separate one from the others you weaken the message that the Lord wants the world to hear, and to see demonstrated. Also, religion has tried to fulfil this ministry without the Holy Spirit � by hammering sin, by presenting people with an unattainable righteousness, and by pronouncing judgement on anything that moved! BE FILLED with the Holy Spirit and be a co-worker with Him as He convicts the world through your life and witness. And don�t forget to enjoy the trip! |
