| Cakes: I want a 4 tiered cake with all layers square. I want to use alternating flavors for each layer using Almaretto & Almond flavors. The icing will match the cake flavor but will be a shimmering white. The details will be similar to my dress and will have a silver design. I bought the stencils for it the other day. It looks like it'll be easy to do. The 2nd layer from the top will have a monogrammed S. I'm using amnesia roses and white roses as the topper with plumosa cascading down the sides. My mom wants to make the cake. I want to do the topper. We will see how we feel closer to the day though. I truly want to do it all myself. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| I was planning on renting cloth napkins, but have decided to go with paper napkins & make wraps for the napkins & plastic utensils. We have all the china we could ever dream of, but I can't stand the thought of my family washing it. So...I'm buying all plastic ware. It's ok though b/c we're having the reception in a barn. It's not your normal barn though. I've booked a DJ for $300, who will do the wedding music, reception music, & bring Kareoki stuff for those who wish to dedicate a song or have a little extra fun. I made my ring bearer's pillows out of the fabric the dresses are being made from. I have my shoes, veil, and all the rentals taken care of. The fun part is over.
