Holiday Inn and Bowling in New Hampshire (continued)
I didn't ask for an autograph or a picture, although Glenn happened to see me talking with Alex and snapped a picture from behind us.

I didn't approach Geddy or Neil.  Alex was walking around quite a bit though.  Later Bill tried to approach Alex, but security stepped in.  Bill just wanted to ask if Alex would take one group picture with all of us.  I'm sure Alex would have gone for it, but security wouldn't even ask him for us.

I, ahh..., ran into Neil a couple of times early on that evening (again, coincidence).  Neil was cloaked in an aura of "Don't Even Think About It!" and, trust me, I didn't.  I'm far too intimidated by Neil!

The guys were definitely having a good time.  I also spoke with Adrien who runs the camera during the shows.  At least he recognized me!  LOL!  The remainder of the evening was uneventful -- for me, that is...

We left the bowling alley around 11:30 p.m. or so to head back to the hotel.  Rush was still bowling.  I had good intentions of going to my room for a breather and returning to the lobby or hotel bar, but that didn't happen.  I was just too beat to say the least.  When I left Tampa that morning, I had no idea what was in store for me!

The next morning when I went downstairs I heard all the wonderful stories of what happened when Rush returned to the hotel.  Among other goings on, Glenn had his jacket signed by Alex and Geddy; Melanie (I think her name was) -- the girl from Montreal, had her painting of Geddy autographed by Geddy; and Alex went into the bar and some other fans got to say hello and chat with him for a few minutes.
I'm hoping to get the back of my 1978 ticket stub authographed by Rush one day.  I carry it with me now to all the shows.  It might be easy enough, I guess, I pass it along to someone in the crew to have it authographed by Rush, but somehow that just wouldn't be the same.  Instead, I'll just sit back and let fate take its course.
