| New York State Mandated Testing | ||||||

| In February of each year fourth grade students will be taking the New York State Assessment Test in Language Arts. This test will assess a wide range of cognitive abilities in students arcoss the country. The results of these tests will show how your child is doing in comparison to other children at their grade level. We will be working all year to help your child prepare for these mandated tests. Language skills and comprehension begin at a very young age and are improved on everyday. Talking to your child about their day and playing word games will help your child's vocabulary to grow. |
