The praying mantis was on a house window in Indiana.

The snake is mine.  Eddie is a grey rat snake.  He fell out of a tree onto the lap of a Gulf Coast employee while he was cutting the grass on his riding mower.

This flower (iris) is from Indiana. 

And finally,

 the birds are from the south side of Chicago, Ill.  It took me hours to get the right picture of the birds.

The mother bird had at least 3 babies that I could see.
