Cats are very clean animals. My ex-roommate, Amy, once had a friend over who said that Kitty Bear was the cleanest cat he had ever seen. But Kitty Bear was a wild little cat, too! Sometimes, when Kitty Bear returned from one of his many excursions outside, he would be covered with dirt and pieces of plants. (And sometimes, the fur of unfortunate cats who wandered into his path!)So, inevitably, once in a while, Kitty Bear would have to have a bath.
This is NOT something that Kitty Bear enjoyed, and he made it quite clear!
Before giving him a bath, I would have to go around to all the neighbors and let them know that I was about to give Kitty Bear a bath. This is because Kitty Bear would Meow so horribly it sounded like I was torturing him! He really didn't like water. I felt so bad, but it had to get done, once in a while.
So, as you can see by the picture, we nicknamed him "Exor-Kitty", because he looked like a little demon!
The funny part was, after he got out of the bath, he was in HIGH heaven! You could tell that he knew he was cleaner, and for a cat, that's good news!
