For a long while, Kitty Bear and I lived in the hills of El Cajon in a lovely home owned by Charlene LaRosse. Charlene was out shopping one day, and ran across a key chain with a little pair of "Ray Ban" sunglasses on them. Always one for creative notions, Charlene looked at them and thought, "Those look like they would fit Kitty Bear!"
Unfortunately, Kitty bear didn't like them very much. He would pull them off almost as soon as we got them on him. But sometimes, when we took him in the car with us, we would put his little glasses on, and everyone in the cars around us got a big kick out of him. They'd look, incredulously, and smile. I'll bet that not many of them had ever seen a cat wearing sunglasses!
