After my week in Lipzig, Mom, Martin and I started off for the Netherlands where they originally live. I have to tell you that this trip driving takes only 6hours but little did we know that they we  were in for the storm of the century. After we had drove a little over and hour it starting snowing. And with in two hours it had snowed so much that we started getting stuck in traffic jams first time an hour, the second time it had snowed and snowed and snowed so much we were stuck all night long till around 10:30 am the next day. Geeeezzzzzzzz we couldn't even pull off the road to get a motel casue nothing was moving *period*. Listening to the radio the next day we found out that over miles and miles of highway were shut down due to eighteen wheelers not being able to make it up the hills. Below are the photo's of the storm. I want mention this time that these photo's will be slow in loading ..hehehe

Me in our first traffic jam.

Only a little snow on this hill side.

Second time in a traffic jam.. the one that lasted all night long. Lots of snow here and snowing hard as you can see.

And more snow

Our rescuers..These guys are rom the Red Cross at early morning dawn they had started making rounds along the highway bringing hot tea and chocalate to those who had nothing to drink all night.. Boy was that hot tea good...(not) lol I dont' drink tea but Mom and Martin did.  I was sleeping like a rock at that hour of the morning .LOL Mom said they looked like Santa's.
