See you made it to my
Europian Christmas Vacation site. Glad you are here have lots of great photo's
so some pages will be slow in loading, but hey don't let that stop ya.....LOL.
Mom says that it's a once in life time expereince for a girl of my age (13)to
get to go to Europe. And that we should be must thankful that mom has a person
as Martin in her life to give me such a trip. (I am)You can imagine how excited
I was when the day arrive for me to go.
Decmber 6, 2001 mom arrives to our hometown to come get me and take me back with her to Lipzig, Germany where Martin works. She said we would spend a week there and then drive to their home in the Netherlands. Dec 14, Mom and I take off from McGee Tyson Aiport in Knoxville, Tn. I was a little nervouse since I had never been on an airplane but think mom was more so than me. Why I don't know as she did this more than I have by flying back and forth to see me and my brother. In less than an hour we landed in whashington DC and a few hours later we boarded a big plane that would take us to Frankfort, Germany. WOW it was big I thought, I liked this plane as it was so much bigger than the one we we on first and we have our on TV's to watch at our seat.. So Cool..here's a picture of the kind of plane mom and I were on.
We arrived in Frankfort Germany the next day at arround 11:30 am. Seemed so wild that we flew all night long till that time, but then mom reminded me that the time once we crossed the ocean at a certain point went forward 6 hours that is was really only around 5:30 am in my hometown. We were at this aipport for about two hours as well and from there we flew on in to Lipzig,Germany. Below is some pictures of us landing in Frankfort and the clouds.
