Below are a number of friends I've made in the last few years. Most of these are current; some I have, unfortunately, lost touch with. I've included the latter here anyway, since I did know them, however briefly.

I'll begin with the first group I met; those involved with getting me out of a rather bad situation (described in "Figures in the Shadows") These same people were also involved in the subsequent trial.

In the summer of 1999, a rather unusual cult appeared. Its followers made the assertion that their deity was not any traditional one, but rather . Yes, that *is* the letter E. I make no claim to understand their assertions or views myself, let me make that clear. However, I did happen to come into contact with several children who were drawn into the movement--one of whom, as it turned out, was related to someone else I knew. I've updated the pictures to show how they all appear now. Karl and Billy were twelve and five respectively, "marEE" was ten, and Tommy Gordon nine, at the time of their involvement with the cult.
