It is rather challenging to put into few words an interesting, yet succinct account of the happenings in the Sutton Family for the past many years!  Realizing that one has the option to hit the "Kill" button anytime during this epistle, you can bet that I will keep this "short & sweet" :-)

Much could be written about childhood experiences of mine in Paris, Arkansas, and Jane's early years in Cassville, Missouri, but this particular note only begins with me moving to Missouri in 1951, finishing School, marrying Jane in 1956, and our memorable years since - OK?

I was indeed fortunate to have been able to spend my first two career years along side my father in our Architectural/Engineering office, and I will always cherish that
Father/Son time that we had together!  Following nearly a 4-year courtship, Jane & I married and moved to Neosho, where we spent (other than a 5-month stint in Kansas City) our first 12 years.  Much could also be written of those years, but suffice it to say - the most important event of that era was the birth of our Son, Stann.  When North American Rockwell, with whom I was employed, shut down, we transferred to the Tulsa, OK Rockwell Facility in 1968.  We purchased our home here, and "Lo & Behold" we are still here!  Jane enjoyed several years of performing with the singing group - "The Tulsa Tritones", and I did my Hobby thing with Radio Controlled Model Planes, Golf, and Fishing!

In 1971, following the decline of the Space Industry, I became associated with Oklahoma Natural Gas Company, and was Marketing Manager when I resigned to open my own small business in 1986.  I thoroughly enjoyed my 4-year business endeavor,
"Sutton Specialty Service".  However, that era was concluded somewhat prematurely due to an ensuing heart attack and subsequent stroke.  We have since Retired, and have been very richly blessed with many years of Pleasure & Fun.  Our Greatest Treasures are our Son - Stann, and two Grandchildren - Sierra and Shaun.  We feel doubly-blessed, in that, Stann's home is only 3 blocks from us here in Highland Park, which makes seeing our "Kids" so much easier.  As you might have guessed - we make that happen as often as possible!
