WELCOME TO THE CALGARY YEARS
In April of 1970 I obtained employment with Alberta Government Telephones, toll and Calgary delay center operations and the family moved to Calgary. The scenic nature of the Alberta countryside attracted us to many parks and recreation areas and also to many sites within the city of Calgary. The years 1970 until 1975 will always remain as the "Calgary years" in my memory and is presented on this page with the following images of the family and the homes we lived in.
203 Forest Rd.,Calgary Alta, circa 1971. This was our first home in Calgary. The home was a three level split, with three bedrooms, dining room and a bath and one-half. We bought the home in December 1970 and paid $21,500 for it.
