Well,
just got back from our vacation in Europe. We spent a week in Paris, then
went down to Provence (southern France) for 4 days to attend a family wedding.
While in Paris, we stayed with Barbara and Jean in Yerres (a suburb of
Paris). We saw the usual Paris tourist attractions (Eiffel Tower, Louvre,
Versailles, Disneyland Paris, etc..), but the real highlight was Vaux
Le Vicompte. The wedding in Provence was very nice and the region of
Provence was beautiful.
We
then traveled down to southern Italy, stopping in Siena for one night on
the way. When we got to Puglia, we stayed in Canosa for about three nights,
then traveled down to Mesagne. In Canosa, we stayed with Pino and Lucia
and John stayed with Nuccia , Michele, Chiara and Francesco.
We
stayed in Mesagne for two weeks and had a really great time seeing the
family.then went back up to Canosa for five days.
Traveling
back up north, we stopped in Lucca (near Pisa), then traveled up to Arles
in Provence. We then traveled back to Paris, stopping in Avignon for a
few hours. The trip was really great.
