EXPERIENCE AND EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
March 1997 to Present. Deputy Branch Chief and Senior Space Analyst (GS-0132-13),
US Space Command Combined Intelligence Center (CIC), Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, CO 80914.
October 2001- Present. Serve as Deputy Branch Chief and Senior Analyst within the Targeting and Operations Support Branch. Perform non-kinetic targeting, nodal analysis and direct intelligence support to USSPACECOM J32 Special Technical Operations (STO). Responsible for the development and overall quality of All-Source space-related intelligence support to US Space Command Space Control Operations. Lead a team of 19+ analysts producing time-sensitive intelligence products to support the Commander, US Space Command, and regional theater Commanders. Currently providing direct intelligence support to Operation Enduring Freedom. Provide input to CONOPs, OPLANs and various other command publications. Interact with command seniors (flag-level) on a daily basis. Assist Branch Chief in the overall management of a diverse branch, which regularly provides intelligence support to ongoing crisis operations. Branch operations include kinetic and non-kinetic targeting, support to Space Control operations, and support to Computer Network Attack operations. Represent USSPACECOM at national and international analytical working groups. Serve as mentor and trainer to new analysts.
March 1997 – October 2001. Served as Senior Analyst within the Space Forces Branch. Responsible for the development and overall quality of All-Source space-related intelligence products produced at US Space Command. Led a team of 40+ analysts producing time-sensitive and long-term intelligence products to support the NORAD/US Space Command, Commander in Chief (CINC), regional theater CINC's, and the national intelligence community. Involved in every aspect of the intelligence process to include tasking, analysis, briefing, report authoring (to include reports and briefings in HTML format) and dissemination. Provided input to CONOPs, OPLANs and various other command publications. Served as primary architect from a system and content perspective for a variety of local and national level intelligence products. Represented USSPACECOM at national and international analytical working groups. Participated in the production of National Intelligence Estimates (NIE) and several other national products. Served as primary coordinator and developer for the Joint Intelligence Virtual Architecture (JIVA) Space Community of Interest (COI). Managed a web-based virtual environment for the Space COI using commercial software tools (currently using InfoWorkSpace (IWS). Devised architectural concepts for the development of an intelligence community web portal for space-related information, which will incorporate XML tagging. Served as architect for several command products in HTML format. Served as mentor and trainer to new analysts.
February 1991 to Present. In addition to current civilian job, serve in the US Naval Reserves as an Intelligence Officer (O-3/LT/1635). Currently assigned to USSPACECOM 0188, Cheyenne Mountain Operation Complex (CMOC/J3SX). Provide operational support to Space Control mission. Currently providing direct support to Operation Enduring Freedom. February 1997-September 2000 - Served at JICPAC 0571, Denver Colorado. Supported Joint Intelligence Center Pacific Targeting Branch producing Electronic Target Folders (ETF). Utilized Digital Imagery Exploitation and Production System (DIEPS) to manipulate imagery and Netscape Composer to produce ETF product (also have experience using MATRIX imagery manipulation software). Previous assignments have included the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the Naval Space Command.

Served as Senior Space and Electronic Warfare Analyst within the Strike and Air Warfare Department. Responsible for long-term Scientific and Technical (S&T) intelligence reporting on foreign space, counter-space, and C4ISR/IO matters. Authored and co-authored several System Threat Assessment Reports (STARs) and Threat Environment Descriptions (TED) for US space systems. Served as primary expert for anti-satellite (ASAT) and other counter-space threats to military and commercial satellites. Represented US Navy for space and counter-space intelligence issues at national and international forums. Served as Division ADP coordinator integrating hardware and software solutions to enhance productivity. Developed division web pages to highlight products and personnel.
January 1982 - May 1990. Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analyst, SSgt, USAF (Active Duty). Assignments included the National Security Agency (86-90), San Vito, Italy (85-86), and Misawa, Japan (82-84). Received Basic and Advanced SIGINT collection and analysis training at NTTC, Pensacola. Served as primary telemetry and command system analyst for high profile foreign space systems while assigned to NSA. Assigned to COMFY COBALT Space Program while stationed at San Vito and NSA. Worked HF printer mission while assigned to Misawa.
