My Poetry
From the City
Born from the city
with blue in the veins
To ride on the wind
with time as the reigns
To pass thru' the barriers
and know how it feels
To grasp for the chances
with fate on your heels

To rise with the sunset
and charge thru' till dawn
To picnic with Venus
on the camomile lawn
To know of the pleasures
normally way out of reach
To camp on the pastures
where Luther King used to preach

To walk in the morning
and swim in the sea
  To be at the place
where JFK walks with me
To play with the lions
and talk to the fawn
To visit the city
where Ghandi was born
