The Tuesday night competition runs throughout the entire year. The netball year is divided into two seasons: Autumn/Winter season and Spring season.
The Autumn/Winter competition begins in early February and finishes in early July. The season consists of 18 regular rounds plus 3 rounds of finals (semi finals, preliminary final, grand final).
The Spring competition commences in mid-July and concludes in mid-December. The season consists of 18 regular rounds plus 3 rounds of finals (semi finals, preliminary final, grand final).
Each game consists of 4 x 9 minute quarters with 3 minutes half time. The top four teams in each section play in the finals series. The format for finals is as follows:
Semi Final 1: 1 v 2
Semi Final 2: 3 v 4
The winner of Semi Final 1 is automatically into the Grand Final.
Preliminary final: loser of Semi Final 1 vs. winner of Semi Final 2.
Grand Final: winner of Semi Final 1 vs. winner of Preliminary Final.
