The Recruitment Weekend is the highlight of the Antioch year. There’s talks about various topics, all given by youth, for youth (so no boring bits!) and a chance to discuss them later in small “share groups”. There’s stacks of great music being made constantly (while standing on chairs of course!) as well as games, great people to hang out with and the opportunity to learn more about God, other people and yourself! Whether you’re passionate about God or just passionate about having a good time, give the weekend ago and you’re bound to enjoy it! |

The Details!
Where is it? St Gregory the Great School
396 Manningham rd, Doncaster
When is it? 7pm Friday 9th March – 9:45pm Sunday 11th March 2007
What to wear? Something comfortable, casual
What to bring? Sleeping bag, pillow, towel and toiletries.
What NOT to bring? Mobile phones, watch, money or other valuables
What will it cost? $40
| What to do if you want to come on the weekend: Download a form from here, fill it out and get it and money (cash or cheques can be made out to St Gregory’s Antioch) to us by the 5th March 2007. What is Antioch? Antioch is a charismatic ‘youth-to-youth’ Catholic ministry, where young Catholics (aged 16-24) share their faith with each other. Does that sound boring? Well it’s not!!! This is the place where you find out that God and church is actually the least boring thing in the world and can help you every day in the most amazing ways!!! Thought you already knew that?! Then this is the place you can share that with others who don’t realize it!!! AND either way, you’ll make some amazing new friends in the process!!! |
