Australian Bone Marrow Donor Registry (ABMDR)

Around 3000 Australians, including 250 children, are diagnosed with leukaemia every year, for many of these people a bone marrow transplant is the only possibility for a cure.

Come and support the local rugby union competition and at the same time join with others to register yourself on the Australian Bone Marrow Donor Registry (ABMDR).
  • When: Saturday the 19th of July 2008 from 11:30am onwards.
  • Where: Viking Park, Erindale.
  • What to Bring: Your donation consent form, see the download information below.
  • Then what?: Registering on the ABMDR involves donating a small amount of blood, around 20mL, and that's it!
  • What's in it for me?: The satisfaction of knowing that you may save someone's life one day. There is also a raffle with many great prizes to be won which will be drawn at half time during the first grade match between the Gungahlin Eagles and the Tuggeranong Vikings.
